Nice video blog Julie, but sometimes nice doesn’t help. I used to think I knew a lot about healing until I had kidney problems. Then all the advice I passed out to others didn’t work for me. Begging, pleading, bargaining didn’t work either. I just think sometimes healing is a mystery. I don’t have all the answers, but God does. I don’t know why He heals some and others He doesn’t.
Just for the record, I’m a Pastor with 40 years of experience. I’ve seen hundreds of miracles. Yet there are always those unanswered questions of the people who weren’t healed…some even died.
Sometimes there just aren’t any easy answers.
Oh how true Pastor Slattery. I totally agree. My hopes in posting this video was to inspire hope. To press in to Jesus. To be desperate for Him. NOT to insinuate HE ALWAYS MOVES IN THE WAY WE WANT Him to. I believe faith hopes for the miracle but (Like Shadrach Meshach and Abednigo) we believe GOD can but regardless of how He moves we never bow to defeat, fear, or any other thing. Truthfully, I believe most people simply need to remember how powerful our God is…and that in the midst of hopeless situations HE IS NEAR and HE CARES. THANK YOU for your comments. TRULY makes me want to be more specific to make sure no one misinterprets what I mean to say.
