Wow, every time I read this verse it causes me to reflect on Jesus Power. Think about it. John walked with Jesus, laid back against his chest during the last supper, and stood with him at the cross…but in REVELATION…he fell as a dead man before HIM! WOW!
This passage of Scripture always makes me remember my husband’s explanation of God. He say, “If you can ever completely understand or explain God…you serve too small a god.”
God is so much greater than we could ever hope or imagine. He exceeds our greatest expectation. Words can’t even begin to describe his holiness, power, or love!
It’s easy to get wrapped up in our day to day routine and fall into the pattern of casually interacting with God…BUT…in order to PERSEVERE WITH HOPE…we need to STOP and REMEMBER WHO WE SERVE.
He is ALL POWERFUL. Mighty to save. Faithful. He ever lives to intercede for us! He is good and He loves us. He is our Father!
1 John 3:1 says, “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God ! And that is what we are!” (NIV) How encouraging. We are HIS and He is for us!
So today, I want to encourage you…”If God is for you, who can stand against you?” Take a few moments to envision Him today…in all of His glory…in all of His honor… in all of His love!
PRAYER: Father fill us with hope. Reveal Your power. Fill us with Your Spirit. Strengthen us. Give us a clearer revelation of just HOW POWERFUL You are. And thank You God, that You love us, and have chosen to call us Your children.
It always amazes me how you can write such great post on a daily basis. I can’t even keep up with reading all your writings, so I leave them in my in-box as unopened mail in order to come back and read them at a later date. Your post are very inspiring to me, and I thank you for being an inspiration and sharing your inspirational messages of God’s love for me.
I know it takes a big effort to post everyday and my prayers are with you to continue your ministry even when you may think others may not be noticing. Just remember, your Savior knows what it takes. Keep, keeping on…
About your message today. I had lunch with a client and new friend. He shared an inspirational story with me about how he struggled to open a new business for two years. His message was this we often want to drive and tell God, “Don’t worry God I got it, I’ll do the driving”, but only when we let God do the driving is when great things can happen. You’re right, “He is ALL POWERFUL. Mighty to save. Faithful. He ever lives to intercede for us! He is good and He loves us. He is our Father!”
“If God is for you, who can stand against you?” This is true and we need let God do the driving and be sure that we’re not standing in His way.
